The Atlantic Wildlife Institute is the only rehabilitation facility for wildlife in NB.

Raccoons in NB

Everyone in NB is restricted from housing raccoons, including the rehabilitation center. The only option to help them without euthanizing them is through field care.

Deer fawns

It is normal for these animals to be found huddled in the grass alone. A good general rule of thumb is that they’re okay unless they are in obvious danger, been hit/attacked, or alone for 24 hours.
